In a world where drawings of bears, beds and monsters can be turned into movies - as well as board games and theme park rides - perhaps it should come as no surprise that internet memes are getting in on the cinematic adaptation action, with the infamous Grumpy Cat inking a deal with Broken Road Productions.

Todd Garner and Sean Robins are the guys behind Adam Sandler's Jack And Jill and Kevin James' Here Comes The Boom, so you can probably guess at the tone this "Garfield-like feature film" will take. Fingers crossed Bill Murray is available...

If you're not in the know about Grumpy Cat - real name: Tardar Sauce; name of manager: Ben Lashes - be sure to head over to KnowYourMeme.com, as well as Grumpy Cat's Facebook page (950k+ fans) and his YouTube channel (20m+ video views).

The question now is, which other memes need to get their own movies? Let us know your own suggestions in the comment box below, but not before you've voted it our handy poll...

Which other internet memes deserve their own movie?
Randall The Honey Badger - nature documentary
Gangnam Style - Step Up-style dance movie
The Double Rainbow - Cheech and Chong-like road trip flick
Epic Fails - 90 minutes of the epicest epic fails
Rickrolling: The Movie - Rick Astley biopic
Star Wars Kid - Star Wars: Episode VIII
Chuck Norris Facts - Just another Chuck Norris movie
Fenton: The Movie - Marley & Me, but with even more shouting
