Olivia Wilde Has A Reawakening
With Mark Duplass for a medical thriller

Olivia Wilde

Here we go again: a bunch of bloomin’ medical students, who really should know better than to tangle with the forces of life and death, getting into trouble. We have frankly no sympathy for the lead characters of new bio-thriller Reawakening, which will feature Olivia Wilde and Mark Duplass.

With a script by Luke Dawson and Jeremy Slater, Reawakening finds a team of research students who stumble on the secret to bringing subjects back from the dead. Yet as anyone – hello, Kiefer Sutherland and Julia Roberts in Flatliners – could tell you, all that does is unleash some terrifying consequences. We really hope they’re not shocked by this outcome.

Jiro Dreams Of Sushi director David Gelb is on to call the shots and will, most likely, marshal the running and the screaming.

Wilde will next grace the screen in Ron Howard’s Rush (due September 13) and Paul Haggis’ Third Person. She’s also in indie comedy Relanxious. Duplass has lots of appearances coming up, including in The Skeleton Twins, Mercy and Melissa McCarthy’s Tammy.
