Arrested Development Season 4 Trailer
Bluth is stranger than fiction

The final countdown to the loooong-awaited fourth season of Arrested Development is now upon us, and to make test our excitement, the producers of this new trailer have just made us listen to Europe. The horror! It was worth it though. We can take some '80s soft rock in a good cause, and they don't come much better than the return of the Bluths and the Funkes.

Essentially what we have here then is a quick reminder, if anyone needed one, of the dramatis personae, which means Michael, George, George-Michael, Gob, Buster, Lucille, Lindsay, Maeby and Tobias are going through their usual upheavals. Everyone looks a little bit older, as you'd expect, but we doubt they're any wiser.

You'll know by now that fifteen new episodes of Arrested Development are on their way to Netflix, arriving simultaneously. This time, to get around the limited availability of the cast, each episode will focus on a single character, with not much overlapping. But fear not: there were still at least two occasions where Jason Bateman, Michael Cera, Will Arnett, David Cross, Alia Shawkat, Portia de Rossi, Jeffrey Tambor, Jessica Walter et al were all on set together.

"It’s the story of shame, cunning, thievery, dishonor, backstabbing, deceit, bold-faced lying, one-upmanship, psychological torture, lust, financial ruin, and magic, all supported by a very broad beam of dysfunctional love," promises Arnett. So despite the new format it sounds very much business as usual (or as it used to be before it was so rudely interrupted).

Check out the galleries below for copious posters, character shots and pics from the premiere, and have your Netflix geared up for May 26.
