Two New Only God Forgives Trailers
Time to meet the Devil

Nicholas Winding Refn and Ryan Gosling’s latest joint effort Only God Forgives found a home among the Cannes selection picks this week. It also put out a new poster. Now, undoubtedly tied in with the Cannes news, comes two new international trailers, which you can see below and at the bottom of the page.

They're almost as brutal as the Red Band trailer, and offer similar glimpses into the grubby, neon-lit world of the film. Gosling stars as Julien, a criminal type who is exiled to Bangkok to run a fighting establishment that’s a front for a drug operation.

When his brother is killed, his scary mother (Kristen Scott Thomas) dispatches him into the bowels of the city’s criminal underworld on a mission to track down kingpin The Angel Of Vengeance. Suffice to say, it won’t end well for anyone involved.

The US gets this Only God Forgives on July 19, but we’re going to have to be a little bit patient as there’s no set UK date just yet. With luck, it’ll be announced at Cannes if not before.

driving east?
Good to see scott thomas in a ballsy role..always liked her and not just for her looks...yeah looks violent, artily lit and filmed..maybe overdone it on the wide angle sofa shots hopefully not thoughout the whole film!but seem like a good follow up to driver and gosling has that quiet\loner/nutter role down to a tee More

Is that new music from the soundtrack...
Or is it from something else? It's awesome. More
