It feels like ages since the last vampire movie, but fear not! Here to spice up your day and possibly suck your blood are Gemma Arterton and Saoirse Ronan, in a fresh new poster for Neil Jordan's Byzantium.  There will be blood.

The film tells the story of Clara (Arterton) and her daughter Eleanor (Ronan), who arrive in a new town after things go a bit pear-shaped in their old home. Ronan tries to befriend a local boy (Caleb Landry-Jones) but when she lets slip that she and her mother are not your usual girls-next-door, life gets complicated for the pair. And there are figures from their past on their trail...

Byzantium also stars Sam Riley, Daniel Mays and Jonny Lee Miller, and hits UK cinemas on May 31.

Your Comments

I'd love to see Saoirse Ronan and Chloe Moretz in a movie together. They're the De Niro/Pacino of teen actresses right now. Maybe the movie could be called Teens In Heat, he he. More
