Trance UK Premiere

Trance may be one of those twisty-turny brain-bending Inception-y numbers, but its UK premiere was an altogether simpler affair: all three stars (James McAvoy, Rosario Dawson, Vincent Cassel) in a row, on a red carpet, alongside their director, Danny Boyle. Simple, really.

Unlike, say, the Olympics opening ceremony, it went off without a hitch - and, like the Olympics opening ceremony, it rained just a little bit, but no-one really minded. Plus, Rosario Dawson wore one of perhaps the sparkliest dresses ever made, which normally makes you forget that raindrops are falling on your head.
