New Wolverine Images Arrive
Snikt in Japan

What better place to go to recentre your chi and find inner serenity than a beautifully landscaped Japanese garden? And while you're there, why not engage in the kind of bloody, life-or-death battle Hugh Jackman's Wolverine is struggling with here. Don't tread on the roses, Wolvie.

The other new pics from the film see Wolverine coping with the Japanese seasons as he embarks on a mission to find an old lag from his days in a Nagasaki prison. "Effectively Logan saved him", producer Hutch Parker explained to Empire, "and this man is on his deathbed and is looking to give him a gift, to thank him for the life he's had. But this gift draws Logan into a very complex and very unexpected world."

Chris Claremont and Frank Miller's 1982 comic book forms the heart of the latest Wolverine story, which moves the action to the Far East and sees everyone's favourite adamantium-clawed mutant battling a deadly and determined new enemy.

James Mangold is calling the shots on this one with a cast that includes Yun Lee, Svetlana Khodchenkova, Hiroyuki Sanada, Hal Yamanouchi, Tao Okamoto, Rila Fukushima and Brian Tee.

The Wolverine makes his UK bow on July 25. Expect a trailer any day now.

Great plotline
Hopefully they have watched Elektra before storyboarding this. That movie really messed up The Hand. Hopefully they have read all of Jim Lee's - The Hand - Uncanny X-Men. His tone was spectacular. More
