G.I. Joe: Retaliation UK Premiere
Dwayne Johnson rocks the West End

A little rain couldn't stop Dwayne Johnson and his G.I. Joe: Retaliation cohorts from storming into Leicester Square for the movie's UK premiere last night. Specially polished boots were put to asses up and down the red carpet as fans thronged to get a glimpse of The Rock in all his rockness. And let's not forget, this was a man who'd been up dropping hammers since the wee small hours.

The Rock was joined by director Jon Chu and his co-stars DJ Cotrona (Flint), Byung-hun Lee (Storm Shadow), Adrianne Palicki (Lady Jaye) and Jonathan Pryce (some dude called 'US President').

The Joe sequel brings the crew - and the entire planet - back into the sights of Cobra and its evil-as-off-haggis boss, Zartan. As you can tell from the trailer, there's no peaceful solution to this particular world crisis.

G.I. Joe: Retaliation
is in cinemas from March 27.
