New Hangover Part III Poster
It's Alan vs. Chow

06 March 2013  |  Written by James White  |  Source: Warner Bros.

While the Hangover series shares a studio parent with Harry Potter, we’re not sure we expected the marketing for the film to riff on the adventures of the boy wizard quite this heavily... Still, it’s Zach Galifianakis’ kooky Alan in the role of heroic Harry and Ken Jeong’s crazed gangster Mr. Chow as your hungover Voldemort in this new poster for the third outing. Have a look below.

The poster comes hot on the heels of the latest image, which you can find at the top of the page. If this poster is to be believed, Las Vegas is in for some serious damage this time around, though of course we doubt it’s quite that explosive. Still, if Todd Phillips and the cast want to go out with a bang…

This latest wave of promotion is just the start, as the first teaser trailer is due to drop shortly (as in, today GMT), and by then we’ll hopefully learn more about what actually happens in the movie, though we do know the Wolfpack is hitting the road and part of the story may have to do with breaking Alan out of an institution. What could possibly go wrong?

With Galifianakis and Jeong joined once more by Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Heather Graham, Justin Bartha, Mike Tyson and Jeffrey Tambor, new recruits this time include Mike Epps, John Goodman and Melissa McCarthy. But where is Crystal the monkey? She’s the real star of the franchise.

Get ready for more madness when The Hangover Part III hits screens on May 24.
