New G.I. Joe Sequel Featurette
Storm Shadow gets his moment

06 March 2013  |  Written by James White  |  Source: Latino Review

While a lot of the marketing for G.I. Joe: Retaliation has been focused on your superstar names – your Rocks, your Channing Tatums, your Bruce Willi (is that the proper plural?) – there is a whole cast of characters and the actors behind them to explore. Now Byung-hun Lee gets his moment to talk about playing vengeful warrior Storm Shadow. Check out the featurette.

Storm Shadow, of course, has form with Snake Eyes (played in the films by Ray Park), as the two sword brothers fell out violently when Storm Shadow was framed for slaughtering their master.

While Snake Eyes is part of the G.I. Joe team, Storm Shadow has aligned himself with Cobra’s evil ways. And despite his apparent death in the first movie, he’s back and ready to kick ass again. We’re promised an epic confrontation between the pair and plenty of flying stars. Because, after all, isn’t that what life’s about?

If your sympathies lie more towards Cobra, the organisation is still keeping up its recruiting attempts, as seen in the poster below courtesy of Collider.

G.I. Joe: Retaliation, directed by Jon M. Chu, will hit our screens on March 27.
