It's here, it's here! The theatrical trailer for Iron Man 3 is here and it's really rather action-packed. Explosions galore, quite a lot of mortal peril and a bit more of a clue of what we're in for. Check it out below and let us know what you think.
A few bits of voiceover and dialogue give us some pointers on where this is headed. Robert Downey Jr's Tony Stark is having trouble sleeping, and he has some major worries. A new President is talking big talk about a terrorist called the Mandarin, who's not too concerned: "You don't know who I am. You'll never see me coming." And Tony's stressed out. "Things are different now. I have to protect the one thing I can't live without, and that's you," he tells Gwyneth Paltrow's Pepper Potts. The romance!
Soon Mandarin's offering Stark options of a type usually associated with characters called Sophie: "an empty life or a meaningful death". But Stark's defiant, and soon we're seeing a fight-back, accompanied by Don Cheadle's Rhodesy and a flight of back-up suits (robots?). Watch out, villains! Hold on to your hats / iron suits, audience!
Iron Man 3 is out on April 25 in the UK - a day earlier than previously planned - which is less than two months away. This is a relief because we're not sure we'll last much longer. Empire's Iron Man 3 issue, meanwhile, is out... now.

From what I made of the trailer is that Iron Man doesn't just fight robots. My make of it is that the Mandarin manages to steal all of Tony's suits when he attacks his mansion. Then the guys on the operating tables are Mandarins cronies and he suits them up with all the suits he stole. That leaves Tony having to destroy all his old suits. Anyway the trailer looks awesome and I'm sure the film will be too! More

The Iron Man films have been pretty high quality so far, and Avengers was outstanding. IM3 looks great from what I've seen so far, and if Feige says it won't be a robo-scrap finale, then it wont. Didn't you read the stuff about Extremis?
ron Man 2 sucked. So really the quality has been 50/50 so far.

Wow, more robots. Yawn. Who gives a f$ck.
Having hordes of faceless, dickless, throwaway F/X non-entities is what ruined Iron Man 2, and prevented The Avengers from greatness. And again, what is the point of having a secondary hero (Iron Patriot) that looks almost the same as the main guy? BORING. More

REALLY want to enjoy the Iron Man films, but I just didn't enjoy the last two that much. I LOVE Marvel films and X2 is my favourite comic book film but Iron Man just feels lacklustre. He was great in Avengers, maybe it's a Hulk complex. Works as a sidekick but not as a hero. More

Looks good-sort off
Let me guess the film concludes at the docks where all the massive crates are, it seems as if this will be better than the 2nd but similar in the sense it offers excellent but very brief action sequences which is a shame and this doesn't show much of the story so I'm not sure about this- getting my hopes up anyway. More
