Ben Stiller Part Of Arrested Development
Tony Wonder is back!

26 February 2013  |  Written by James White  |  Source: Entertainment Weekly

We all have a list of recurring and guest characters we want to see return alongside the Bluths when Arrested Development strikes our screens in May via the resurrecting power of Netflix. But we can’t have everyone; with only a limited number of episodes and a lot of story to get through, there is only so much screen time to go around. There’s good news for fans of Ben Stiller’s preening magician though, because Tony Wonder will be back.

Entertainment Weekly has learned that Stiller is back to bother Will Arnett’s Gob for one episode in the new run that kicks off this spring. What will he actually be doing? That’s still being kept quiet, but expect magically appearing bread products and pedantic corrections if past performance is any guide.

Stiller is just the latest guest star to be revealed, and we already know that Kristen Wiig, Seth Rogen, Conan O’Brien, John Slattery and Isla Fisher are aboard, with more to be revealed.

There have been a few recent rumblings about the series, after the CEO of Netflix told investors that the season would be a one-shot due to the logistics of gathering the cast. But the company’s PR team, speaking to Hitfix’s Alan Sepinwall, said they’re hopeful there will be more. And Jason Bateman told our Podcast team that the series is intended to start a story that the film based on the show will finish, so make your own guess as to what will finally happen…

Hmmmm
As much as I love the show, i'm very wary of things 'returning' these days as they more often than not end up disappointing. I blame Lucas for this with both the Star Wars Prequels and Indy 4 laying the groundwork. Series 3 of Arrested was showing signs of fatigue so I really hope they can blow this out of the water! More
