Diesel Offers Latest Riddick Pic
Rid plays a game of thrones

Vin Diesel has been posting pictures, personal reflections, casting nuggets and his hopes for the movie for months now, and the latest image offers an intriguing glimpse of the ever-angry Furian in his latest eponymous outing, Riddick. Check it out below.

This time around, it certainly seems as though Riddick gets off the hostile planet he’s initially trapped on (unless this is part of a flashback or dream sequence), as we find the tough nut warrior sitting on a massive alien throne. And it doesn’t look like he’s all that thrilled to be there, if you ask us.

Writer/director David Twohy and a cast that also includes Karl Urban, Katee Sackhoff, Dave Bautista, Bokeem Woodbine, Jordi Molla, Raoul Trujillo and Nolan Gerard Funk have been hard at work on the movie. US audiences will get their first look at the film on September 6 this year, though we don’t yet know if that’ll translate into a worldwide date. It’s possible we may end up waiting a little longer.

Still, at least we know it’s coming. Now we need a trailer to see something other than still frames. Your move, Vin!
