You already know that we’re big fans of genius artist Olly Moss round Empire way. So we’re thrilled to learn that he’s just revealed his latest, biggest job yet, working with the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences to craft a poster celebrating 85 years of the Oscars. Moss’ challenging brief was to create an image that featured Best Picture winner through the years from 1927 to last year in his inimitable, minimalist style. And… well, you can see the result. It’s a real achievement. Frankly, this has us wishing Moss was called upon to design more of the Academy’s imagery, but we’ll take what we can get for now. So, without cheating and looking up the answers online, how many can you figure out? This might be of assistance if you get stuck.
