Exclusive: New Dark Skies Poster
'This isn't 'a few birds'!'

12 February 2013  |  Written by Phil de Semlyen

The new Dark Skies poster has landed and zeroes in on a scene from the movie's trailer in which a flock of birds is led, mysteriously, to start dive-bombing the suburban home of Lacey and Daniel Barret (Keri Russell and Josh Hamilton). Either they've been dipping into their Hitchcock box-sets or some strange ju-ju is at work inside those four walls.

Unsurprisingly, it's the latter. The Barret's six year-old son is the subject of a malevolent alien's - or aliens - attention, and there's all kinds of strange domestic jiggery-pokery at work. Aside from driving down house prices faster than you can say "Indian burial ground", these spooky goings-on lead into something more threatening still. Something that would probably gets its own drawer in Fox Mulder's filing cabinet.

Paranormal Activity producer Jeanette Brill has charged Scott 'Legion' Stewart with reproducing that mega-franchise's claustrophobic chills. Find out if he's managed it on April 5 when Dark Skies gets its UK release.
