Sean Bean Set For Jupiter Ascending
The new Wachowski film

06 February 2013  |  Written by James White  |  Source: Deadline

Sean Bean

Let the on screen death jokes commence! Okay, so we don’t yet know what his fate will be in the film, but Sean Bean is once more risking cinematic fatality by grabbing the chance to work with Lana and Andy Wachowski on their next ambitious sci-fi project Jupiter Ascending.

The Wachowskis have been keeping most of the details a secret, but a few plot details have leaked out.

Set in a universe where humans are at a definite evolutionary disadvantage, the story finds Mila Kunis as a young woman who is targeted for assassination when the Queen of the Universe discovers that she’s a threat to the Queen’s rule. Assuming, of course, that’s not a cover story meant to mask the actual plot…

Channing Tatum and Les Miserables’ Eddie Redmayne are also in the cast, and according to Deadline, Bean is on to play a Han Solo type. So while he may not meet his maker, we’d caution him against going near anywhere that has the slightest whiff of carbonite.

Bean, who last cropped up in Silent Hill: Revelation, will next return as Zeus in Percy Jackson: Sea Of Monsters.

Will he die in this though, that's the question!? Was the petition to try to halt his premature on-screen deaths all in vain!? More
