Marvel Reveals Iron Man 3 Toys
Assemblers assemble!

21 January 2013  |  Written by James White  |  Source: Marvel

If you’re somewhere snowy right now – i.e. a lot of the UK – you may be reacting negatively to all the white, cold stuff gumming up the works of transport and deliveries. But just think! Thanks to Hasbro, Marvel and the Iron Man 3 team, you could use all that snow to re-enact the film using the new toys. Take a look at the gallery below.

At least… you could if the toys were out. And if we’d seen the film yet. Curse you, snow! Also, time!

The new toys do show off Tony Stark’s latest suit, plus War Machine – or, as he’s being referred to here, Iron Patriot. They’re from Hasbro’s Assemblers line, which allows you to customise each figure with different pieces and parts.

All told, 16 figures will be released through 2013 to tie in with the movie’s release, starting in the US on February 11.

The movie, of course, finds Robert Downey Jr’s billionaire playboy philanthropist up to his metallic neck in trouble as he’s targeted by the Mandarin (Ben Kingsley) and other nasty types intent on taking him down a peg or 15.

With Shane Black co-writing (with Drew Pearce) and directing, Iron Man 3 is out on April 26.

RE: Marvel Reveals Iron Man 3 Toys
The ones made by MacFarlane toys are usually amazingly detailed and sturdy. Granted, those are intended more as collector's items than as toys, but I still think every toy company should aspire to be more like that. More

40 year old virgins across the globe go crazy!!?... You would of thought toys would be much better these days, I find the toys I buy for my kids are all piss poor quality, Especially action figures. Although my eldest did get a Thundercats sword and claw for xmas and thats taken quite a battering! More

Smoke and Mirrors....
Well done Hasbro, use some fog and nice lighting to disguise the fact that there's virtually no articulation in those action figures.... More
