The Last Exorcism 2 Trailer Crawls In
More southern Satanic shenanigans

09 January 2013  |  Written by Phil de Semlyen  |  Source: Yahoo! Movies

There's a new trailer for The Last Exorcism 2 and it's arrived just in time to put you off your lunch. There's demonic arson, more mid-air contortions and the kind of sound design that will bury itself under your skin like one of those worms in The Matrix and need dislodging by a trained professional. Finish your sandwich, then click here to watch it in full at Yahoo! Movies.

The star of The Last Exorcism, Rev. Cotton Marcus, isn't coming along for the ride in the sequel, what with the thing that happened last time out, but possessed wallclimber Nell Sweetzer (Ashley Bell) is again the bedraggled subject of hellish demon type Abalam's attention in a southern (hell-)fried corner of Louisiana.

Director Daniel Stamm, whose eye for a scare elevated the first film above standard shakeycam fodder, has handed the megaphone over to Canadian filmmaker Ed Gass-Donnelly for the second instalment. Let's hope he's a cat lover.

The Last Exorcism 2 is out in March.

Another Exorcist rip-off using the lazy "found footage" formula (it hides many flaws). Boring. More

How can you have 2(or possibly more in future) last exorcisms? That would mean that the actual Last Exorcism should have been called The 2nd Last Exorcism or maybe the Penultimate Exorcism More
