New Pain And Gain Poster Grunts In
Johnson & Wahlberg look solid

We’ve had one protein-powered teaser poster for Michael Bay’s new dark comedy crime caper Pain And Gain. Mark Wahlberg and Dwayne Johnson are the main selling points so it was only a matter of time until they were placed front and centre. Check out the new image below courtesy of Yahoo!.

You’ve got to feel a little sorry for Wahlberg – he’s admirably bulked and toned here, but standing next to The Rock, even when he’s crouching, just makes anyone look a little less impressive.

Pain features the duo as Florida bodybuilders who get embroiled in a web of kidnap and extortion that also drags in folks played by Anthony Mackie, Ed Harris, Ken Jeong, Tony Shalhoub, Rob Corddry and supermodel Bar Paly (because what’s a Bay film without a supermodel?)

The story of the crime that goes badly wrong for all involved sounds a little too good to be true, but it’s real all right – Captain America scribes Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely based their script on Pete Collins’ 1999 articles in the Miami New Times.

This represents a nice break for Bay from the usual CG madness of the Transformers movies. Pain And Gain will arrive here on May 3.

RE: The recipe
L: blindlemonpie Mix two wooden actors with a terrible director. Add a dash of poor scriptwriters and top with a supermodel. Bake until May 3 and then remove the ungodly mess from the oven for all to enjoy. I'd rather eat my own feet. men brother. (tho The Island really was great, so maybe Bay will deliver again one day) More
