Crowe goes head to head with Wahlberg

You may have seen the trailer for crime drama Broken City, which features Russell Crowe, Mark Wahlberg and Catherine Zeta-Jones leading the cast. If not, you can view it below. But now a clip from the film has arrived, with Crowe and Wahlberg going head to head at a tense moment in the plot. Watch it above.

Broken City, directed by Allen Hughes, finds down-on-his-luck cop-turned-private eye Billy Taggart (Wahlberg) hired by the smooth, successful mayor of New York, Nicholas Hostetler (Crowe) to investigate whether Hostetler’s wife (Zeta-Jones) is cheating on him.

Billy thinks it could be an easy payday, and indeed he does catch Zeta-Jones seemingly being indiscreet. But when her lover turns up dead, he realises that the mayor has more on his mind that simple infidelity. And that if Billy’s not careful, he’ll be next on the list.

There’s just one thing – the crafty politician hasn’t factored in Billy’s tenacity...

With Jeffrey Wright, Kyle Chandler, Barry Pepper and Griffin Dunne also among the cast, Broken City arrives on March 1 next year.
