New Cuban Fury Pic Online
It's Frost Vs O'Dowd!

14 November 2012  |  Written by James White  |  Source: Collider

As the Nick Frost-driven dance comedy Cuban Fury sambas its way through post production, the first batch of pics are starting to come down the wire. The first, which you can see in the gallery below, however, isn’t really that new, since it graced the pages of Empire a couple of issues ago. Still, courtesy of Collider, there’s also a fresh pic of Nick and co-star Chris O’Dowd, which can be enjoyed in the gallery.

Fury finds Frost as Bruce Garrett, a man who gave up a promising career as a natural-born dancer years ago after being bullied as a teenager.

Now out of shape and unloved, he’s trapped in a boring job and a spiral of self-pity. The one light in his life is Julia (Rashida Jones), who is his new boss: a smart, funny, gorgeous American.

But though Bruce develops a big crush on Julia, he has to contend with Drew (O’Dowd), the alpha male of the office who also has his eyes on her. So Bruce decides to face his biggest fear and, with help from his sister Sam (Olivia Colman), get back on the dance floor.

The new pic, of Frost and O'Dowd, appears to capture them in the middle of some sort of dance-off. Or recreating a famous scene from Titanic. Or some odd sex ritual. We're probably better off not knowing.

With James Griffiths directing from a script by Jon Brown (drawn from an idea by Frost), Cuban Fury hits our screens on March 22. Take a look at our exclusive blog from the set below.
