Astonishing Ellen Ripley Sculpture
Is that you, Sigourney Weaver?

19 October 2012  |  Written by Ali Plumb  |  Source: Steve Scotts

Steve Scotts is a sculptor. Not a sculptor of stone, but a sculptor of silicone. Armed with his superpower of creating hyper real heads of human beings, he must choose only the most worthy to receive his hours of love and pain-staking attention. He chose... wisely.

As you may have guessed from the double take-worthy images in our gallery above, the person Scotts picked was Sigourney Weaver. 1986 Ellen Ripley Sigourney Weaver, circa Aliens.

Previously, Scotts has recreated Arnie and as you can see on his Facebook page, many more.

So though this isn't technically news, it is technically awesome, so take a closer look at the photos above, and if you get the chance, click 'like' on Scotts' Facebook page to see how he's getting along.

Hmmm, I agree with Judge and Rich...
It's a very nice sculpture, but I wouldn't have thought that was Sigourney Weaver. More
