The Empire Podcast #32 Is Here!
Ever carried $90,000 in Thai baht?

12 October 2012  |  Written by Ali Plumb  |  Source: Exclusive / SoundCloud

Two movie-making pairings come to the Empire Podcast booth this week, namely Pusher's Nicolas Winding Refn and Richard Coyle and Ruby Sparks' Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris. Expect anecdotes about Winding Refn's Drive follow-up, Only God Forgives, as well as an intriguing titbit about the lost Paul Newman and Robert Redford movie...

Elsewhere, Adele's Skyfall theme tune gets dissected and corrected, the possibility of Taken 3 is discussed and the Empire Podcast team work out what the best cameo in all of cinema is. The results? entertainingly shambolic (in the best possible way).

Then there's our regular super-easy competition to join in on, reviews of Pusher, Ruby Sparks and On The Road and the chance to hear more about Jon Spaihts's fascinating original Prometheus draft. All this and more in this week's Empire Podcast...

Don't forget, as well as SoundCloud, you can also download the Empire Podcast from our RSS feed or subscribe to us on iTunes.

Taken 3 idea
I think if his security team is taken that he eats with and is seen playing golf in taken 2 it would be great. As if he is taken on the same trip and escapes it leaves him out there on his own with no one to call for favours our help. Or he could be taken and bear grylls could come save him ;) More
