New Hitchcock Pics Arrive
Scarlett and more make a Psycho drama

We’ve had a poster and a look at Anthony Hopkins as Hitch himself, but now some high resolution pics of other cast members of Hitchcock are also online. While they debuted in People magazine across the pond a few days ago, they’re now pristine online and can be seen in the gallery below.

Directed by Sacha Gervasi (Anvil! The Story of Anvil), Hitchcock charts the auteur’s struggle to get Psycho made against problems from studio backers and censors. It’s also a story of his love for his wife and filmmaking partner Alma Reville (Helen Mirren).

The pics include Scarlett Johansson looking uncannily like Janet Leigh, James D’Arcy as Anthony Perkins and Hitch himself, once again in profile.

American audiences will get to see this one on November 23. We’ll have to be patient and wait until February 8 next year to see how well Gervasi and his team have pulled off the Hitch trick.

Plus, there’s always the competition from The Girl, the TV movie, which charts Hitchcock’s efforts making The Birds and his obsession with Tippi Hedren. That will air in the US on HBO on October 20 and hits BBC2 in December.
