Pain And Gain Poster Flexes Online
And there's a release date too

20 September 2012  |  Written by Owen Williams  |  Source: Paramount

Taking a well-earned break from shooting giant toy robots, the next film we'll see from Michael Bay will be the smaller-scale crime caper Pain And Gain. And look! Here's a poster, rather emphasising the "gain" part of that title. Approach dietary supplements with caution, kiddies.

Pain And Gain, you'll be more than aware, stars Mark Wahlberg and Dwayne Johnson as Floridian body-builders who get embroiled in a dastardly web of kidnap and extortion. It may sound unlikely, but Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely's screenplay is actually based on a true story, adapted from Pete Collins' work in the Miami New Times.

The ridiculously strong cast also includes Anthony Mackie, Ed Harris, Rob Corddry, Tony Shalhoub, Ken Jeong and Israeli supermodel Bar Paly. The just-announced release date sees Pain And Gain out in the States on April 26, so it expect it in the UK at some similar time in the Spring.
