Chances are you’ve seen at least one Skyfall trailer already, but as the release date creeps closer, there’s always room for some fresh snippets of footage, lurking in the new international promo above.
And at this point, you probably don’t need the plot basics explained, but just in case: Skyfall finds Daniel Craig’s Bond pitted against a particularly nasty villain Raoul Silva (Javier Bardem).
This new bad guy has a personal vendetta against MI6 and M (Judi Dench) in particular, and from the looks of the footage we’ve seen so far, the resources and determination to strike at the very heart of the Secret Service.
Naturally the majority of the story beats are still being kept in the bottom of a locked filing cabinet stuck in a disused lavatory with a sign on the door saying “Beware of the Leopard”, but we know we can expect action on trains, tubes, bikes and roofs, sultry Bond Girl action from Severine (Bérénice Marlohe) and Eve (Naomie Harris) and the first appearance of Q (played here by Ben Whishaw) in the Craig Bond’s world.
With Sam Mendes calling the shots, Ralph Fiennes, Helen McCrory, Albert Finney and Ola Rapace are all among the cast.
Skyfall makes landfall here on October 26. American audiences (and certain Empire LA-based writers, moan, whine, grumble) will have to wait until November 9.

Just don't be disingenuous to fans of this series. It makes you look like an elitist.
Wanting to watch escapist tosh like a Bond flick doesn't necessarily make someone "gormless". More

we want safari suits!
Not really.
THIS LOOKS EPIC.
with 2 kids under 5 getting out to the movies is always something of an expedition but this is definitely an excuse to contact the baby sitters!
Craig's Bond is just so much better (yes, even in QoS) than any other man of action on the big screen it almost 'makes me feel bad for the rest'.
October 24th?

007 reports for duty...
What can I say...Bond is back! Mendes looks like he's hit a home run with this one. Just look at some of that cinematography from Roger Deakins...engaging visuals. Classic Bond...loving it so far. And what a cast! More

Looks even worse than QoS
Quantum of Solace was shite to the nth degree, and this looks even worse. "Mummy was very bad" .... dialogue like that is a sure sign to stay away like the fucking plague.
When was the last time a Bond movie actually reflected real world events to some degree or other? Even License to Kill had Mexican drug cartels as the baddies. Would the current Bond ever dare go anywhere near terrorism (Islamic or otherwise), or the uprisings in the Middle East? I don't think so, because most of More

Bring it!
Looks better with each trailer. I have a very good feeling about this. And before more people slag off Quantum of Solace, as a huge Bond fan I really enjoyed it and remember Empire rating it quite highly too ( 4 stars I do believe ). Craig's Bond rocks and has brought a much needed sense of realism to the role. More
