Isla Fisher On For Arrested Development
Terry Crews also aboard

17 September 2012  |  Written by James White  |  Source: Vulture

Though it has been shooting for a while now, there are still some details left to leak out about the new series of Arrested Development that Jason Bateman hasn't already tweeted.  The latest word is that Isla Fisher and Terry Crews will be part of the cast.

According to Vulture, there’s no word on what they’ll be appearing as, but Crews in particular, given the always-entertaining mash-up of hulking physical presence and real comic timing, is a welcome addition.

Currently designed as 10 episodes (or, perhaps, 13) focusing on each member of the Bluth family in turn, the new series will run next spring on Netflix. Creator / show-runner Mitch Hurwitz has previous said that they will lead to the planned Arrested Development film, though that, of course, is still up in the air.

All the regular AD gang is back, with Bateman joined by David Cross, Portia de Rossi, Michael Cera, Will Arnett, Alia Shawkat, Jessica Walter, Tony Hale, Jeffrey Tambor and, of course, Ron Howard back as narrator (with a cameo, according to reports, as himself once more).

Also signed on are previous guest stars / recurring players Liza Minnelli as Lucille Austero, Judy Greer as Kitty (“Say goodbye to these!”) Jeff Garlin (Mort Meyers), Henry Winkler (Zuckerkorn), Scott Baio (Bob Loblaw) and, of course, Mae Whitman as Ann Veal (Her?)
