New UK Skyfall Poster Hits The Web
Daniel Craig's Bond in back in blue

It's hard to find the right word to describe the look on Daniel Craig's face in the new UK Skyfall poster below, but the best out there has to be... Bondian. Or, perhaps, quizzical.

It could be down the fact that he's wearing a From Russia With Love-style blue tuxedo instead of his typical black dinner jacket ensemble, or maybe the photographer just asked him a particularly bamboozling question at the moment the shutter snapped.

Whatever the story behind the poster, here it is, heralding the undeniable fact that today, September 17, there are just 38 days until Skyfall arrives in UK cinemas.

For more details Skyfall's costume department, check out this special videoblog on the subject, which shows just how you go about picking a suit that both needs to look cool and work well in a gunfight to boot.

Skyfall will hit UK cinemas on October 26, with US Bond fans only able to see it come November 9. If you want to find out more about it all, be sure to pick up the current issue of Empire, out sale now.

"Blue Tuxedo"
Actually, blue is the usual colour for James Bond's dinner suits, not black. We've seen Bond in blue dinner jackets more than we've seen him in black or white. More

Cool...
I like it. I always love when the gun-barrel is placed on the poster somewhere. It just gives it a Bondian feeling. Well done :) A bit like The Living Daylights...kinda :) More

Should they return to the hand-painted posters of the '70s?
Damn! That's one cool poster - yet another I'll have to add to my Bondian collection. Craig looks coldly confident and cruel. I love the sixties retro look. Come to think of it, I'll have to get the tux as well! The current batch of posters for Sky Fall may be uninspiring for some people - gone are the beautifully painted posters of the seventies and eighties that graced many of Moore's movies - but I still think that the teaser poster for Sky Fall was the most effective. They're showing co More
