New Hobbit, Les Miserables Pics Arrive
Plus Zero Dark Thirty and more...

Entertainment Weekly have unveiled new images of The Hobbit, Les Misérables, Zero Dark Thirty and more on their website, and here below are just a few for you to take a gander at.

martin freeman hobbit

The first sees a sleepy-but-alarmed Bilbo (Martin Freeman) scampering across The Shire holding onto a letter, leaping past a nonplussed pig as he tries to catch up with the dwarves that have gone on without him.

Then there's a marginally less action-filled photo of Hugh Jackman's Jean Valjean squaring up to Russell Crowe's Inspector Javert from the set of Les Misérables if you call a hobbit running past a pig vaguely actiony in the first place, that is.

Finally, here's Jessica Chastain in Zero Dark Thirty, playing a member of a covert-ops team trying to track down Osama Bin Laden. This is a film so shrouded in secrecy that no name has been announced for her character. As soon as it is, we'll let you know.

For more images from Entertainment Weekly, click on any of the stills above (or here) and remember, for more details on all these films and more, check out Empire's Ultimate Winter Preview issue, on shelves now.

P.S. The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey is out in the UK on December 14, Les Misérables on January 13 and Zero Dark Thirty on January 25.
