Terry Crews Joins Scary Movie 5
He's on for the latest horror spoof

Terry Crews Joins Scary Movie 5

The world may not exactly be crying out for another instalment of the bafflingly successful Scary Movie franchise (though that success naturally means Dimension Films is happy to keep cranking them out), but one person who is glad the fifth outing exists is Terry Crews. He’s just been cast in the film.

Crews, chatting with Blackfilm about all sorts of topics (including the gathering rumours about Expendables 3), dropped word that he’s just worked on Aztec Warrior alongside Luis Guzman and will be showing up in Scary Movie 5.

“That’s being directed by my man Malcolm Lee, who I love from The Best Man,” Crews says, though he isn’t specific about his character. Last week, news arrived that Charlie Sheen and Lindsay Lohan are close to signing on, which has since been confirmed by The Hollywood Reporter.

In addition to Aztec Warrior and his latest outing with the Sly gang in The Expendables 2, Crews is rumoured to be joining the cast of clash pic Fighting Back. And he’s also been popping up in episodes of Aaron Sorkin’s The Newsroom, a role he intends to continue in the second season.
