New Skyfall Banner: Meet Silva
UPDATE: And now here are the rest

09 August 2012  |  Written by Helen O'Hara  |  Source: Exclusive

Update: Now we can bring you the rest of the new Skyfall banners, showing Daniel Craig's James Bond, Naomie Harris' Eve and Bérénice Marlohe's Sévérine, as well as all four characters together. Yup, Bardem definitely has the worst hair.

...

Even if you hadn't been following the development of Sam Mendes' Skyfall and knew nothing about the new James Bond film, we reckon you'd still be able to tell that Javier Bardem's Silva, in the new banner below, is a bad 'un. Take a look and then we'll review the evidence.

Consider, for starters, that terrifying blonde hair do, the most upsetting coiffure since, um, Javier Bardem in No Country For Old Men. It both recalls and probably surpasses Christopher Walken's Max Zorin look, previously the epitome of the blonde Bond baddie. Then there's the sinister long black leather jacket, the all-black ensemble (including an always-sinister turtleneck; why do bad guys always hide their neck?) and - most tellingly - the jackboots. People, this is not a man to be trusted.

Of course, Daniel Craig's James Bond is about to find that out all over the place in Skyfall, as you can see in the latest trailer and as we discussed in our trailer breakdown here.

Skyfall also stars Judi Dench, Ralph Fiennes, Bérénice Marlohe, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw, Ola Rapace, Helen McCrory and Albert Finney. James Bond will be back on October 26.

RE: Why bother...
L: spamandham Not really. bond films nowadays are just 4th rate Bourne rip offs. ... One film (QoS) used the the Bourne (2 & 3) shakey cam. Which is almost exactly the same as what you said. More
