3, 2, 1... Frankie Go Boom Trailer Lands
Ron Perlman in drag, anyone?

09 August 2012  |  Written by Ali Plumb

submit to reddit

A pig being catapulted into a swimming pool. Charlie Hunnam performing the Heimlich Manoeuvre on said pig. Ron Perlman in drag. Chris O'Dowd kissing Ron Perlman in drag. All this and more is in the trailer for 3, 2, 1... Frankie Go Boom, now available on iTunes.

The indie comedy from Around The Bend director Jordan Roberts centres around Frankie (Sons Of Anarchy's Charlie Hunnam) as he spars with his bullying brother (played by Chris O'Dowd) after he records Cloverfield's Lizzy Caplan having truly terrible sex with him and sends it to a movie director... who just so happens to be her dad.

It's convoluted, it's preposterous, it's got a really odd name, it's... 3, 2, 1... Frankie Go Boom. But like Around The Bend (Michael Caine, Christopher Walken) it's got a cracking cast, and it's definitely not your average cookie cutter Hollywood comedy.

Plus, Ron Perlman in drag! Something that even appears on the poster, which you can check out below.

3, 2, 1... Frankie Go Boom is out on October 16 in the US, with no UK release date confirmed as yet.
