Sheen And Lohan Cast In Scary Movie 5?

Sheen And Lohan Cast In Scary Movie 5?

Lindsay Lohan and Charlie Sheen's careers have both been in the doldrums of late, but the upcoming reboot-cum-sequel of the never-ending Scary Movie franchise, tentatively and originally titled Scary Movie 5, looks set to give them yet another comeback opportunity.

Studio Dimension films have not officially confirmed either actor's casting, but E! report that they are both as good as signed on for the David Zucker-helmed horror spoof project.

Fans of the series will note that Tom, Charlie Sheen's character in 2006's Scary Movie 4 taglined "The fourth and final chapter in the trilogy" dies in that one, so that'll make his return... difficult. Or not, as the case may be.

Anna Faris, incidentally, has confirmed that she will not be part of the fifth installment of the franchise.

Lindsay Lohan's faltering career currently sees her filming US TV movie Liz & Dick, a biopic about Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton's tumultuous relationship.

Sheen, meanwhile, is faring somewhat better. Since leaving immensely successful sitcom Two And A Half Men amid controversy in 2010, his new television series Anger Management based on the Adam Sandler and Jack Nicholson movie of the same name is now airing on FX, and Robert Rodriguez has cast him in his  action exploitation sequel Machete Kills as, you guessed it, the President of the United States.

Scary Movie 5 is set for a April 19 release next year.

Charlie Sheen didn't play that role...
Charlie Sheen continued his role as Cindy's Brother-In-Law, Tom LOGAN, and took a tonne of viagra and fell off a balcony fighting a cat that was attacking his.... junk... and dying as a result The role Empire has him listed as in this article was actually played by Craig Bierkom who portrayed Cindy's new love interest Tom RYAN - a parody of Tom Cruise. It was Bierkom who parodied the infamous Oprah/Cruise encounter More
