Scare story franchise Paranormal Activity has become a reliable cash cow for Paramount, and the fourth film has been in motion ever since the third made big bucks last year. The Paranormal Activity 4 trailer has arrived to offer plenty of the usual security camera frights and you can watch it below.
With directors Ariel Schulman and Henry Joost, who made the third film, back behind the camera for this one, the timeline has shifted from going back in time to investigate the demonic influence that caused havoc for Katie (Katie Featherstone) and young nephew Hunter. Now we’re up to date and the pair has moved into a peaceful suburban neighbourhood, which naturally becomes less peaceful as their influence spreads.
Few details have been released about what happens or who is starring as the blonde focus of this latest film, but that’s the way Paramount likes it – the less you know going in, the better.
We do know, however, that the movie will haunt cinemas on October 19. Those of a nervous disposition are advised to buy new underwear before then.
1st one was cool, different, creepy, original. No real need to continue the story for another 3 dam movies just wearing that good idea really thin. More

How's this for a pitch for the inevitable 'Paranormal Activity 5':
A young couple move into a new apartment previously owned by the daughter of the woman in PA1 who was the kid in PA3. Strange things begin to happen. So they rent a copy of 'Paranormal Activity' from NetFlix to find out the ending. Then promptly GTF out of the house' But, heres the SHOCKER. It turns out it's the REMOVAL VAN THAT'S HAUNTED!!!!!!!
That'll be $150 million at th ebox of More

Hard to tell how good it'll be. I really like 1 and 2, and 3 had good scares but it ruined the story. Don't like the bit where we see Katie (the reason PA is scary is 'cause we never see anything), but to fair the PA3 trailer had a similar scene yet it never showed up in the film. More
