Worthington May Count For Ten
He's in talks for the new Arnie film

23 July 2012  |  Written by James White  |  Source: Variety

Worthington May Count For Ten

Looks like Marcus Wright might be squaring off with the Terminator again… No, we don’t mean that either Sam Worthington or Arnold Schwarzenegger are returning to the franchise. Instead, Worthington has now entered early talks to star with the Austrian Oak in Ten.

Director David Ayer is busily building this one, which takes its inspiration from, of all things, Agatha Christie’s Ten Little Indians. Skip Woods wrote the script, which finds an elite DEA task force using a tactical raid as an excuse to rob a dangerous drug cartel. But while they think they’ve gotten away with a hefty haul, they start being picked off one by one. Is it the cartel? Or is there a traitor in their midst?

According to Variety, Worthington has been offered one of the lead roles, and is apparently happy to do it if a deal can be hammered out. Ayer has rounded up financing and intends to kick off filming later this year.

Then There Were None, not Ten Little Indians
The original title was completely racist, it was then changed to Ten Little Indians (still racist and derogatory) and then was called by it's proper title: Then There Were None. Don't call it Ten Little Indians- that's just lazy... More

Past it
Arnie always had a use-by date, the moment his muscles turned to flab. Clearly that happened years ago, so I'm not sure why he's a drawcard anymore. Surely not for his acting abilities. More
