Olly Moss' New Dark Knight Rises Poster
Batman goes minimal

14 July 2012  |  Written by James White  |  Source: Mondo

With the release just days away, The Dark Knight Rises continues to dominate the pop culture consciousness. We’ve already had one poster released by the Mondo team to tie in with Comic-Con and now comes another, this time by Empire chum Olly Moss, and one which represents a shift in terms of policy for the limited edition poster team.

For while most other Mondo posters have been notoriously hard to get, selling out moments after being released, this latest pic is being offered in two forms, one regular and one variant. Though the variant was only found at the company's Comic-Con booth and  limited to 180, the regular poster (priced at $40) will be sold at its site for 24 hours on Wednesday July 18, with the edition number determined by however many people order it. Which means a lot more of us get the chance to own the print.

"We've listened to feedback about making prints available to everyone who wants one, and we're excited to be able to offer this one time chance with something as highly coveted as an Olly Moss print for Batman. While we won't change the collectible status of Mondo posters, this timed release is something we'd like to offer as a unique and rare opportunity for any fan to own a Mondo print," said Mondo Creative Director Justin Ishmael.

More details can be found at Mondo’s site.
