Brie Larson Set For Don Jon's Addiction

Not content with cropping up in some of the year’s most anticipated movies such as The Dark Knight Rises and Looper (as well as producing indie music and movie projects), Joseph Gordon-Levitt is hard at work on his directorial debut, Don Jon’s Addiction. The latest addition to his Addiction? Brie Larson.

There’s no word on who the 21 Jump Street co-star is playing in the film, but we do know it sees Gordon-Levitt starring as a modern day, porn-addicted Don Juan who meets a recently widowed older woman (Julianne Moore) and decides to come a less selfish person.

In addition to writing the script, the new director has also cast Scarlett Johansson, Rob Brown and Tony Danza in the film, which has the backing of Looper producer Ram Bergman and Hurt Locker finance guru Nicolas Chartier.

Larson is already busy. She’s getting set to work on romantic comedy drama The Spectacular Now, Peter Bogdanovich’s Squirrel To The Nuts and will be part of the cast for neurotic comedy Relanxious. Plus, she’ll likely be off to college when the 21 Jump Street sequel starts filming…
