Dinosaurs Vs Aliens Trailer Roars In
Barry Sonnenfeld predicts a riot

Last May, it was revealed that Men In Black 3 director Barry Sonnenfeld was indulging a childhood passion to power a future project, and had teamed with comics scripting stalwart Grant Morrison for Dinosaurs Vs Aliens. The motion comic trailer for the title has now arrived via Yahoo and can be seen below.

Rather than just plucking some random comics title from the shelves to turn into something new, Sonnenfeld got in on the ground floor of this one, working with Morrison and Liquid Comics to pump out a graphic novel which will also form the basis of a film – though that part is still in development, of course.

It’s a pretty simple concept – Dominion: Dinosaurs Vs Aliens does exactly what the name suggests: aliens invade Earth during the time of the terrible lizards and despite it feeling as though dinosaurs would have a hard time grasping the notion of alien invaders, we figure that once the shooting started, the dinos would get angry and fight back.

And though we wonder if studios are cooler on the idea of trope clashes after the failure of Cowboys & Aliens, the thought of dinos chopping on nasty alien types does have a certain appeal. For more from the creators, head to Yahoo's site.
