Exclusive: Cuban Fury Video Blog
Nick Frost is your bespangled guide

06 July 2012  |  Written by Phil de Semlyen

Nick Frost has donned his dancing shoes and set to work setting dancefloors on fire in his salsageddon comedy Cuban Fury. Not actual fire - that would contravene several hundred health and safety laws - but a far more powerful force: "heel fire".

While Bruce Banner and Cern scientists try to harnass this volatile energy, Frost has given us a sneak peek behind the scenes of Cuban Fury in this first videblogisode from the set of the currently-filming movie. In it, we get a look at Frost's character, Bruce Garrett, Rashida Jones as his boss/the potential love of his life Julia, and Chris O'Dowd as the villain of the piece, Drew.

We even get a glimpse of Frost's actual actual trailer. To the star's chagrin, said trailer is parked in rainy Surrey rather than the glitzy Miami he was hoping for when he first pitched the film to producer, Nira Park, but being British filmmakers, they're making the best of it with on-set banter.

Frost spoke to Empire before the cameras started rolling and promised "a romantic-comedy with fantastic, real dancing," as well as the rare sight of Chris O'Dowd getting his bad guy on. "He's trying to cock-block him, essentially."

Starring alongside Frost, Jones and O’Dowd are Olivia Colman and Ian McShane. Loads more on Cuban Fury as we get it.
