Dark Knight Rises Manhole Poster
Bane vs. Batman in Gotham's sewers?

05 July 2012  |  Written by Ali Plumb

With just a couple of weeks until The Dark Knight Rises finally arrives in cinemas - see out feature-filled countdown for more details - Wayne Enterprises' publicity HQ is stepping things up a gear, in this instance with a brand new graffiti-themed poster.

Echoing the spray paint-filled street campaign the Dark Knight team spoiled us with four years ago, it also serves as a tease for the underground sewer fight between Bane and Batman we've caught glimpses of in trailers, stills and TV spots.

Or is it the Batcave? Or somewhere else entirely? Forunately, things still remain a bit of a mystery on that front.

Plus, take a closer look at Bane's eyes in this stencil. And... there you go. Nice work, that poster designer.

Excited? Thought so. Remember: The Dark Knight Rises is out on July 20... as if you didn't know already, right?

Am I the only one
who looks at that and reads 'RINSE'. Seems like Bane is trying to encourage hygiene in Gotham More

I'll go out on a limb and say Bane doesn't bitchslap Batman in the sewers, but in the Batcave. I think Bane hides out in the sewers. More
