Why Stop Now Trailer Online
Jesse Eisenberg's having a tough day

03 July 2012  |  Written by James White  |  Source: Yahoo

Didn’t Jesse Eisenberg learn anything about not getting caught up in wacky adventures after the madness of 30 Minutes Or Less? Apparently not, because he's once again ensnared in a group of colourful characters as a piano prodigy who is just trying to make it to a big audition. Check out the trailer for Why Stop Now, online via Yahoo, below.

Eisenberg is Eli Smith, a promising young musician with a series of problems in his life. Amongst them is his free-spirited addict mother Penny (Melissa Leo), who has failed her latest round of rehab. Trying to juggle keeping her out of trouble and caring for younger sister Nicole (Emma Rayne Lyle), Eli is also attempting to stay focused on his crucial piano audition.

But then his mother needs help again and via her, he becomes involved in the schemes of hapless drug dealer Sprinkles (Tracy Morgan). Can he survive the day and still make it on time?

The film looks like it could be an amiable time at the cinema, even if it feels a little like everyone here is doing variations on previous characters. It hits Video on Demand across the pond on Thursday, and will then venture into US cinemas on August 17. There’s no sign of a UK release date yet.
