Crispin Glover Checks Into Motel
He's joined the action thriller

03 July 2012  |  Written by James White  |  Source: The Hollywood Reporter

Crispin Glover Checks Into Motel

Indie action thriller Motel is attracting quite the cast for its tale of hit men, criminals and other assorted lowlifes. So it feels somehow perfect for Crispin Glover to be stepping aboard. He and Mirror Mirror’s Martin Klebba have signed on to the film, which already features John Cusack, Robert De Niro and Rebecca Da Costa.

The Hollywood Reporter has leaned that it’s a crime pic focused on Cusack’s hit man, who is hired by a crime boss (De Niro). To finish the job he’ll have to battle a series of other shady characters, and ends up partnering with Da Costa’s femme fatale to try to escape his fate.

There’s no word on who Glover or Klebba will be playing, but you can bet Glover hasn’t signed on to play an ordinary motel customer.

David Grovic is cranking the cameras right now, working from a script by James Russo that has since been re-written by Grovic and Paul Conway.
