New 60 Second Django Unchained Teaser
Samuel L. Jackson's character unveiled

03 July 2012  |  Written by Ali Plumb

In six months' time, Quentin Tarantino's spaghetti Western Django Unchained will hit cinemas, full of whipcrack dialogue, actual whip cracks and as you'll see from the teaser below, Samuel L. Jackson with white hair.

Playing a character known only as 'Stephen', he takes the elder gentleman role here, making way for Jamie Foxx in the lead.

Wonderfully, as well as SLJ frowning at the camera, the first half the teaser boasts a remix of Ennio Morricone's Ecstasy Of Gold, which may well send shivers up and down your spine several times over.

Those lucky Americans will get to see Foxx and co. do their thing at Christmas time, but British Tarantino fans will have to wait until January 13 to see Django Unchained.

The one thing that really really really bugs me is the oh so clever line "The D is silent". No it isn't, the d is sounded in Django! More

Nice to see Franco Nero at least has a cameo. I can't wait to see what Jamie Foxx will do with this character. Also, I'd like to send alot of respect and non-fruity love out to Quentin Tarantino. More

Nice to see Franco Nero is at least having a cameo... This may be Tarantino's masterpiece, or at least a lot of fun. Jamie Foxx has really proven himself to be a great actor ever since he saved "Any Given Sunday" from being on the turd pile. I am fascinated and can't wait to see what he does with this kind of role. I'd also like to send some respect and non-fruity love out to Quentin T. More
