First Man With The Iron Fists Still
And it's eye popping. Literally...

No, the image to the left is not the eye-popping first look at rapper-turned-writer-director-star RZA’s The Man With The Iron Fists. The actual picture contains actual eye-popping, so we thought we’d keep it a little more under wraps. But you can find all the socket gouging you might want in the still below.

The image was first posted on Twitter by the man himself (and discovered by Coming Soon) as part of an announcement that we can expect the first trailer on Thursday.

As for the movie itself, it finds a blacksmith in Feudal China forced to defend the small village where he churns out weapons against an encroaching enemy.

RZA has recruited quite the cast for his directing debut, with Russell Crowe, Lucy Liu, Pam Grier, Jamie Chung and Rick Yune all in place and Eli Roth as his co-writer on the script. It’ll be interesting to see what the Shaw Brothers fan has cooked up for this first stab behind the camera.

So far, the movie doesn’t have a locked release date either here or in the US, but we expect that to change once the trailer sees the light of day.
