Yesterday we caught a glimpse at some of the characters of Les Miserables, but now prepare for the whole deal in all its pomp and circumstance as the movie's new trailer storms the internet's ramparts today. It's appeared on YouTube but will no doubt be appearing via official channels soon.

Tom Hooper's musical promises things we haven't seen since Rob Marshall's Chicago: music, pageant and drama, all wrapped up in old-school Hollywood spectacle.
Joining Hathaway in Victor Hugo's revolutionary tale are Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Amanda Seyfried and Eddie Redmayne. Les Miserables is out in the UK on January 11, 2013.
A film adaptation of this musical is long overdue - but definitely worth the wait for these actors. It looks exquisite in all respects, and perfectly-cast. Plus, how can any version be shite when you have Sacha Baron-Cohen and Helena Bonham Carter as the Thénardiers...? Brilliant! More

dgribble - they DID do a book adaption back in 1998 with Liam Neeson, Geoffrey Rush and Claire Danes. So quit your whining and do some research.
