Anchorman 2 Teaser Poster Arrives
The legend continues!

16 May 2012  |  Written by Ali Plumb  |  Source: emileeid.com

In the US, some lucky audiences will get the chance to see special Anchorman 2 teaser footage before their screenings of The Dictator footage already in the can to wet our whistles like three fingers of Glenlivet – while the rest of us will have to wait until it comes online. Still, we can console ourselves with this new poster of the Channel 4 news team.

Sure, it's just Brick, Brian, Champion and Ronald, lined up in a row, shoes staring into the distance, but there's something about it. Something... newsworthy. You know, aside from the fact that a couple of the guys appear on only have one leg.

Ah, that's it it's the name. It seems that McKay and Ferrell are forgoing the Anchorman 2 tag that the sequel's been dubbed so far, instead calling it Anchorman: The Legend Continues. Something that makes sense, as the original film's full name was, of course, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy

And just in case you missed it not likely, admittedly here's Mr. Burgundy's announcement on Conan from a few months ago.

For more on Anchorman: The Legend Continues, check out our exclusive interview with director Adam McKay in the current issue.

RE: By the Hammer of Thor
I might be a bit dumb, but, does anyone else think that there are only three pairs of legs on the poster? it simply looks like there are only 6 feet showing (two with odd shoes and trouser legs!) More

This is the best news i've heard in a long time. this should have been made many years ago. Anchorman is Will Ferrell's best movie. Every other film he has made so far is rated against this. Anchorman being 10 out of 10. He has come close with Blades of Glory, Other Guys and Step Brothers. buts its the actual cast lineup that made the original such a success. Baxter the hairy buddha better be in this movie. (how old would he be now in dog years?) More

RE:
L: Whistler I didn't realise it had actually started shooting yet. Coolness. t hasn't, they don't start shooting till next year. Chances are the new teaser footage will just be a voiceover, some clips from the first film and probably a 'made for teaser only' sketch. More
