New Killer Joe Poster Online
Check out William Friedkin's latest

10 May 2012  |  Written by Helen O'Hara  |  Source: Exclusive

Like William Friedkin? Then we have good news, because he's back with a new film, an impossible-to-define sort of Western / crime drama / black comedy called Killer Joe. And here's an exclusive look at the new UK quad.

The film sees Emile Hirsch's petty drug dealer Chris run up a debt he can't pay, and plot with his father (Thomas Haden Church) to murder his estranged mother. But when they hire police officer / professional killer Joe (Matthew McConaughey) to do the deed, he demands collateral in the form of Chris' sister Dottie (Juno Temple), and their carefully laid plans come under threat.

Killer Joe is out in the UK on June 29, so keep your eyes peeled.

Definitely interested in this one...
... I thought McConaughey was bloody marvellous in The Lincoln Lawyer and I look forward to seeing him in more thrillers and darker fare, such as this. More
