Think Like A Man Tops US Box Office
The Lucky One finds second place

Think Like A Man Tops US Box Office

After four weeks at the top, The Hunger Games has finally fallen to a challenger, with Screen Gems’ comedy Think Like A Man taking hold with $33 million. The latest Nicholas Sparks film, The Lucky One, avoided critical gunfire to arrive strong in second place, earning $22.8 million.

Team Hunger Games won’t be worrying too much, though, the film still did decent business, dropping to third place and making $14.5 million. It’s now over $356 million in the US alone and has comfortably passed half a billion dollars worldwide. In fourth place was new nature arrival Chimpanzee, as the latest Disney doc took $10.2 million. In fifth we find The Three Stooges, making $9.2 million.

Sixth went to Cabin In The Woods, which fell from third and earned $7.7 million. American Reunion was down to seventh and $5.2 million, while Titanic 3D sank to eighth with $5 million. Ninth was 21 Jump Street, which added $4.6 million for a running US total of $127 million, with Mirror Mirror at 10th and $4.1 million.

To see if you can win at the charts by thinking like Nicholas Sparks, head over to Box Office Mojo.
