Sam Mendes and his Skyfall team have been slowly drip-feeding us all behind the scenes glimpses of the cast and crew in action as they wrap up shooting on the film itself. We’ve already had the big intro and a chance to see the Bond girls in action (head to our dedicated page to see all the videos so far) and now there’s a blog about shooting some of the gorgeous landscapes that come as standard with any Bond outing.
This time around, there’s no Mendes himself, but we do hear from some of his vital support team members, including first assistant director Michael Lerman and second unit director Alexander Witt, who chat about shooting in Shanghai’s streets and skyscrapers.
As is de rigueur for the Skyfall blogs so far, there’s no actual footage from the movie, but you do catch a glimpse of Daniel Craig dressed immaculately and, one presumes, getting ready to order a Heineken. Though probably not shaken, because he’d get it all over him.
We’re intrigued to see what else the crew have to offer and, of course, to see the finished product when Skyfall itself arrives on October 26.
