Chuck Norris Expendables 2 Image Lands
He wears purple shades these days...

Chuck Norris is one of the new arrivals to the Expendables franchise, joining Jean-Claude Van Damme and Liam Hemsworth in a movie so masculine several women have become pregnant just reading this sentence.

Mr. Norris has already been involved in a bit of a kerfuffle - our word, not his - over the film's rating, with Simon West's action ensemble at one point set to have a 12A button on the poster at the insistence of the badass bearded one.

Dolph Lundgren has since dismissed that idea as a load of bunkum - again, our word - and maintains it'll be over 18s only when it hits cinemas in August.

Still, the fact remains: Chuck still has the power to make a fuss - even if only with words.

MTV have got their hands on a new snap of the big fella, showing the one-time Texas Ranger looking cool as he walks away from an explosion. Okay, walks away from a burning car chassis, fine; we just wanted to link to that video, okay?

So take a look at it below, and for a closer look, head to MTV itself.

Then when you're done with all that, check out chucknorrisfacts.com. Well, you were going to anyway, right? It is a day with a 'y' in it, after all.

The Expendables 2 will be in cinemas come August 17.

There was no way in hell the film was going to be 12A. "Chuck Norris doesn't flush the toilet, he scares the shit out of it" More
